Name of the Posts - Newsreader cum Translator

Vacancy Count- 50 Positions

Age Group- Aspirant’s age should be more than 21 yrs and less than 45 yrs as on 30^th of June, 2014.

Scale of Pay- Job seeker will receive Rs.23,000 as salary.

Educational Requirement- Contender should be Graduate conversant with relevant Indian language for which the aspirant is applying for and Graduate in English. Job seeker should have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and should know Computer Applications. Contenders with Graduate conversant in respective Indian language and Post Graduate in English are desirable.

Registration Charges- Application fee is Rs.300 for all the aspirants except OBC / SC / ST category aspirants who have to pay Rs.225 as application fee. Cost of application is non-refundable. Cost of application is to be paid by means of DD payable at New Delhi, favouring Director General(News), AIR, New Delhi.

Hiring Procedure- Written Test and Interview / Voice Test will be the criteria for selection of aspirants.
