IS THE CRICKET IN POONCH AT STAKE

At the time when the sports are being
encouraged all around, the #Cricket_in_Poonch seems to be at stake. Sports have
always played a vitol role for students in building their career. Participation
in sports enhance their physical and social skills. Today, when growing
popularity of digiworld is dragging the youth away from the physical workout
and another dragon in the form of #Drugs is also consuming the precious lives,
the importance of sports becomes manifold. Cricket in Poonch has tremendous
scope, if we can tap the potential in the proper way. There is no dearth of
talent but it has fallen prey to inadequate opportunities to choose it as their
career. The structure being raised in College ground, as an extension block to
the Degree College Poonch, is putting the future of Cricket at stake. No doubt,
College needs enhancement of it's promises to provide better educational
infrastructure and facilities for the future, but where will the youth go who
will be deprived of the only cricket ground in Poonch?
